Haohan Chromatography (Shandong) Application Technology Development Co., Ltd. has established an analytical method for tetrahydrothiophene in natural gas using gas chromatography. The method uses a HH-THT-7 specialized micro diameter packed chromatography column and TCD detector for detection, and a tetrahydrothiophene working curve is plotted. The low detection limit of tetrahydrothiophene can reach 0.5mg · m-3. After 6 repeated measurements, the relative standard deviation is less than 0.02%. This method has been used for the determination of tetrahydrothiophene in natural gas and has achieved satisfactory results.
