There are many synthesis methods for perfluorohexane. In the early days, the main method was to react hexafluoropropene with epoxy compounds under the action of catalysts, or to isomerize epoxy compounds. Later, the synthesis methods of hexafluoropropene with acyl halides and perfluorocarboxylic acid compounds were invented.
