硫磺在我国的使用有着悠久的历史，早在一千多年前我们的祖先就发明火药。由于硫磺广泛应用于生成生活，包括硫磺矿、火山口、油井、砖窑、硫磺皂或膏、中药材和火柴头，化学性质活泼，易燃并且产生大量气体的特点。
浩瀚色谱（山东）应用技术开发有限公司建立了气相色谱法测定黑火药中的硫磺,对萃取溶剂、进样口温度和升温程序进行了优化。分析条件为:以为萃取溶剂,进样口温度240℃,柱温程序:40℃保持1 min,以10℃/min升至80℃,保持2 min,再以10℃/min升至240℃,保持5 min。硫磺标准溶液在5～50μg/mL范围内线性关系良好,检出限为0.65μg/mL,加标回收率为92.4%～102.7%,相对标准偏差为1.4%,实现了黑火药爆炸残留物中硫磺的检测。采用气相色谱法对黑火药中的硫磺进行了定量分析,区分了不同的黑火药样品。
