色谱条件与系统适用性试验 用聚苯乙烯-二乙烯基苯为固定相（PLOT Q型或极性相近）的毛细管柱；氢气为载气；柱温90℃；进样口温度为130℃；检测器为热导检测器，温度为130℃。取含有甲醇（0.01%）和二甲醚的混合标准气，由气体进样阀注入气相色谱仪，记录色谱图。理论板数按二甲醚峰计算应不低于1500，二甲醚峰与甲醇峰的分离度应符合要求。
测定法 取本品，连接减压阀，用铜管将减压阀和气体进样阀相连接，打开钢瓶减压阀，冲洗连接管道与各阀，调节流速使进样阀后的气流以能在水中连续冒出气泡为宜，设置气体自动进样阀0.01分钟时打开，1分钟时关闭，记录色谱图。按面积归一化法计算，即得。
