固定污染源废气的采样应符合中的相关规定。采样时敲开活性炭采样管的两端，与烟气采样器相连（A段为气体入口），检查采样系统的气密性，检查方法和标准按照HJ/T 397要求执行。以0.2 L/min～1.0 L/min的采样流量，连续采样1 h，或在1 h内以等时间间隔采集3～4个样品计平均值，采样时间一般不少于10 min。若废气中湿度太大，以致在活性炭管中凝结时，必须在烟气采样枪和活性炭采样管之间加装除湿装置，并伴热以除去水汽对活性炭采样管的影响。
本标准规定了环境空气和废气中三甲苯（1,3,5-三甲苯、1,2,4-三甲苯和1,2,3-三甲苯）测定的活性炭吸附/二硫化碳解吸-气相色谱法。
本标准适用于环境空气以及木质家具制造业、汽车制造和维修业等有组织和无组织排放废气中三甲苯的测定，其他行业废气经验证后也可使用本方法。
对于环境空气，当采样体积为30 L时，本方法检出限为0.004 mg/m3～0.006 mg/m3，测定下限为0.016 mg/m3～0.024 mg/m3；对于废气，当采样体积为10 L时，本方法检出限均为0.02 mg/m3，测定下限均为0.08 mg/m3，详见附录A。

The sampling of exhaust gas from fixed pollution sources should comply with the relevant regulations in. This standard specifies the activated carbon adsorption/Carbon disulfide desorption gas chromatography method for the determination of trimethylene (1,3,5-trimethylene, 1,2,4-trimethylene and 1,2,3-trimethylene) in ambient air and waste gas.
This standard is applicable to the determination of trimethylbenzene in environmental air, as well as in organized and unorganized exhaust gases from wood furniture manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, and maintenance industries. This method can also be used after verification in other industries' exhaust gases.
